I'm pretty sure my love for pastries began in childhood when my mom would order these delicious birthday cakes from the same local woman who baked out of her home. I can clearly remember those sheet cakes decorated with The Muppets, Minnie Mouse...something cute every year...and how I loved to run my finger across the foil to scrape up the gooey bottom. I think that I was more excited about the cake than the gifts! Years later, I'm a "mature" woman with the same enthusiasm for pastries. I decided to take my passion for bakeries and coffee houses to the world of blogging. It's my dream to travel the world and experience all the wonderful, delectable bakeries and coffee houses that exist.
